PagerDuty Marks Significant Milestone With 100th Platform Integration
Aruba Networks Joins PagerDuty’s Rapidly Expanding Partner Ecosystem, Validating Enterprise Demand for Operations Performance Management
San Francisco – October 29, 2014 — PagerDuty, the leader in operations performance management, today announced that Aruba Networks has integrated its device-monitoring services with PagerDuty’s platform, becoming the 100th provider to join the company’s ecosystem. By connecting its ClearPass Access Management system and PagerDuty’s operations performance platform, Aruba Networks has added new capabilities for its users, empowering them to reduce mean time to response and improve the customer experience.
“PagerDuty helps our enterprise customers by making sure that somebody is on the ball when our system uncovers an incident,” said Cameron Esdaile, senior director of emerging technologies at Aruba Networks. “Integrating our solution with PagerDuty’s operations performance platform allows Aruba Networks to provide end-to-end incident management on top of our ClearPass system to give our customers peace of mind knowing incidents will be escalated until someone responds.”
Aruba Networks’ ClearPass access management system gives companies a window into network and security controls and visibility into activity on their network. Combined with PagerDuty’s operations performance platform, ClearPass enables organizations to not only identify and respond quickly to network security issues, but also improve the customer experience – for example, by reacting to VIP customers entering casinos or to assist hotel guests having trouble accessing the local network. PagerDuty works with ClearPass to make network administrators more responsive to actionable incidents and provide performance metrics to drive proactive process improvements to deliver better customer experiences.
“Improving businesses’ mean time to respond, regardless of the event, is critical to their customer satisfaction and ultimately their revenue,” said PagerDuty Product Manager David Hayes. “We’re excited to see Aruba Networks add to our expanding ecosystem of partner integrations and the growing use cases in which PagerDuty is helping businesses improve their customer experience.”
Building on its expansive ecosystem of ready-to-use integrations, PagerDuty’s platform has seen steady adoption across IT operations tools such as monitoring, collaboration, customer support/ticketing, and configuration management, and touches a wide range of industries from entertainment and technology to finance and healthcare. PagerDuty already integrates with leading monitoring solutions, including AppDynamics, Keynote, New Relic, Nagios, Sensu and StatusCake.
