PagerDuty Deepens Executive Bench to Propel Digital Operations Management Business and Accelerate Global Growth
Appoints Jonathan Rende as Senior Vice President of Product and Marketing and Rebecca Kline as General Manager of Growth to drive further product innovation and faster acceleration at scale
SAN FRANCISCO – December 14, 2017 – PagerDuty, the global leader in Digital Operations Management, today announced the appointment of industry veterans Jonathan Rende as Senior Vice President of Product and Marketing, and Rebecca Kline as General Manager of Growth, bringing the experience of successfully leading scaled teams at innovative technology companies. Over the past year, PagerDuty has experienced record growth as the company added its 10,000th customer, hired over 165 employees and opened two new international offices. As the company prepares for another year of significant expansion, Rende and Kline will work in lockstep with the engineering, customer success and sales teams to continue to serve PagerDuty’s growing customer base and scale the PagerDuty Digital Operations Management platform to meet global demand.

Jonathan Rende, Senior Vice President of Product and Marketing
Rende has more than 25 years of experience leading teams in products, engineering, and marketing within high-profile technology companies. Most recently, Rende was Chief Product and Engineering Officer at Castlight, leading the company’s foray into new products. Before Castlight, Rende was the Executive Vice President of Products and Marketing at cloud-based monitoring and mobile testing platform Keynote. He has also held various VP, general manager and senior product and marketing roles at Appcelerator, Hewlett-Packard, Mercury and Informix. He joins PagerDuty to lead the product and marketing teams, including product marketing, brand and communications.

Rebecca Kline, General Manager of Growth
As PagerDuty’s General Manager of Growth, Kline will build a new growth team focused on expansion initiatives and enhancing the customer journey. Kline was an early employee at Malwarebytes, where she was instrumental in building the company's worldwide marketing strategy and team from one to more than 100 employees during her six-year tenure. Kline drove a high-velocity sales and marketing model for Malwarebytes with yearly revenue growth at 50 to 100% each year, and played a key role in corporate strategy, customer experience and product roadmap. Most recently Kline served as the Chief Marketing Officer at SentinelOne, leading global marketing, including brand, messaging, channel marketing and go-to-market strategy.
