PagerDuty Helps Companies Reach Operational Excellence by Leveraging AWS
GTM agreement helps companies accelerate cloud adoption and streamline hybrid-cloud operations
PagerDuty also announces Rundeck Cloud on AWS, a fully managed cloud automation offering is under development, and that Rundeck Enterprise will be made available in AWS Marketplace by end of 2021
SAN FRANCISCO - November 29, 2021- PagerDuty, Inc. (NYSE:PD), a global leader in digital operations management, today announced a multi-year go-to-market agreement with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) to ensure customers’ cloud migration and digital operational maturity journey is painless, agile, and seamless for consumers. Furthering its commitment to the relationship, PagerDuty also announced a fully managed Rundeck Cloud automation offering will be available on AWS in early 2022 and that its enterprise offering will also be made available in AWS Marketplace.
PagerDuty’s recent Global Tech Leadership Report found that 61% of technology leaders feel cloud adoption has resulted in increased complexity. But as information technology (IT) environments have matured and a growing number of companies are digital-first, intelligent AIOps and automation can now offer powerful capabilities to help tackle complexity and workloads without taxing tech teams. The combination can help drive the critical organizational change across teams, technology, and processes required to extract the highest return on investment (ROI) from cloud strategies.
“PagerDuty is built on AWS and together, our solutions help companies streamline and accelerate their digital transformations,” said Dave Justice, Chief Revenue Officer at PagerDuty. “Working closely with the AWS global field and marketing teams, these go-to-market efforts extend the combined solutions to a broad base of customers, providing AIOps and automation to identify, and accelerate critical work.”
PagerDuty will continue to also drive deep product integrations with key AWS services such as Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon GuardDuty, and Amazon EventBridge. These integrations enable organizations of all sizes to harness the flexibility, agility, and scale of the cloud as teams transition from siloed and centralized approaches to multiple, distributed teams and hybrid infrastructure driving faster digital transformation. Additional details about these integrations are here.
“AWS is excited to work with PagerDuty as we share commitment and dedication to our customers and Partners,” said Rachel Mushahwar, Managing Director, North America Partner Sales and Channel Chief at AWS. “This agreement enhances PagerDuty’s management capabilities with industry-leading cloud services from AWS to strengthen the value PagerDuty can offer.”
Continuing the momentum, PagerDuty also recently announced Rundeck Cloud which will be hosted on AWS in early 2022. Rundeck Cloud provides a fully managed enterprise automation service to accelerate time to value allowing technical teams and developers to focus on building and running automated workflows rather than running a Rundeck Cluster. Rundeck Cloud provides high availability, security, and elastic scalability and manages all patches and updates so users always have the latest features available.
“We are excited that PagerDuty and AWS are continuing to invest in each other,” said Jabari Norton, Vice President of Worldwide Alliances, Sumo Logic. “Our joint solution is more robust because, like Sumo Logic, PagerDuty and Rundeck are deeply integrated on AWS. It extends our Full-Cycle Automated Remediation story and enhances our integration—bringing even more value to our joint customers.
A non-managed Rundeck Enterprise will also be available in AWS Marketplace in early 2022.
